We hope that our social and emotional skills "map" of Europe will become an indispensable tool for a variety of activities for early childhood and pre-school children - prevention, inclusion, research, educational services, intervention planning, etc. and thus contribute to the development of key competences for early childhood and pre-school children, their inclusion in society, reduction of school drop-out, improvement of the quality of early childhood care and education (ECCE) providers, etc. that respond to new challenges.
The EU-Self digital platform is a powerful tool to create a proactive and effective network of people with different profiles, needs and interests in children's social and emotional development. All this has a huge potential for long-term impact not only for participating partners, researchers and early childhood education and care (ECEC) providers, but also for indirect stakeholder groups such as experts; educators; parents; students; future ECEC practitioners; service providers; experts working with children and families; policymakers; decision-makers; NGOs; local authorities; EU bodies; etc. We hope that this project will contribute to the social and emotional development of children, both within the European Union and worldwide.
