Here I would like to draw attention to the conductive education which is a holistic approach in rehabilitation education and was developed in Hungary in the 1950s.
Disability is a lifelong condition, with symptoms that gradually change, resulting positive or negative shifts in motor, mental, communication and psychological status, and a change in quality of life. The holistic approach of conductive education interprets the personality as a unified whole, it does not divide it into parts. In this complex educational system, the complex development of the disabled person includes motor and cognitive competences as well as social and emotional development of the person with the same emphasis.
